Terms and conditions

These terms apply to everything you book or buy from L.Melcherts Productions through leomelcherts.com: private sessions, gift vouchers and digital meditations. We have written them as clearly as we can.

In these terms, L.Melcherts Productions is also called ‘Leo’ or ‘we’, and you as a customer ‘you’.

These terms apply to every offer on leomelcherts.com and every agreement that follows from it: a booked session or package, a purchased gift voucher or a purchased digital meditation.

You can read and save these terms on the website at any time before you book or buy anything.

All prices are in euros and include VAT.

A temporary price, such as an introductory price, is shown together with the period in which it applies. For an introductory price, the date you book counts, not the date of the session.

Obvious mistakes or errors in an offer do not bind us.

You book a session or package through our booking page (Cal.com). You order a gift voucher or digital meditation through the button on the website. You pay online straight away via Stripe, with iDEAL, card or another method offered.

The agreement is made as soon as your payment succeeds. You receive a confirmation by email.

A session lasts 1.5 hours, including the intake and reflection, and takes place at the location in your booking confirmation. If you arrive late, the session still ends at the planned time.

Sound healing supports your wellbeing, but it is not a medical or psychological treatment and does not replace one. Leo does not diagnose or give medical advice. If you have health complaints, please consult your GP or another healthcare professional.

Are you pregnant, do you have epilepsy, a pacemaker or a metal implant, or have you recently had surgery? Please let us know before the session so it can be adapted. If you are unsure whether a session suits you, check with your doctor first.

You can cancel or reschedule a session free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts, using the link in your booking confirmation or by email. If you cancel, you receive a full refund.

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the start, or do not show up, the full amount remains due, unless you can still use your right of withdrawal at that moment (article 7).

For the 7-week package the same rule applies to each session. If you want to stop early, we refund the sessions you have not had yet. The sessions you have already had are then charged at the single-session price.

If Leo has to cancel a session, for example because of illness, we either plan a new date together or you receive a full refund.

As a consumer buying through the website, you generally have 14 days to change your mind. To withdraw, let us know within that period, for example by emailing leo@leomelcherts.com. You may use the model form below, but you don't have to. We refund you within 14 days, using the same payment method.

Sessions: the withdrawal period runs for 14 days from your booking. If you choose a date within those 14 days, you thereby explicitly ask us to hold the session within the withdrawal period. If you withdraw after a session has taken place, you pay for the sessions already provided. After the last session, your right of withdrawal ends.

Gift vouchers: you can withdraw from a gift voucher purchase within 14 days, as long as the voucher has not been used.

Digital meditations: because you receive a download straight after payment, we ask you at checkout to explicitly agree to immediate delivery and to confirm that you thereby give up your right of withdrawal. After delivery, the purchase can no longer be withdrawn.

A gift voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and covers the session or package named on it, even if its price has changed in the meantime.

After your purchase, Leo emails you the voucher with a personal code. The recipient redeems it by booking a session with that code through the booking page.

After the withdrawal period, a gift voucher cannot be exchanged for money. An expired voucher can no longer be used.

After payment you receive a personal download link by email. We aim to send it within a few minutes. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder or contact us.

You buy a personal licence: you may listen to the meditation yourself as often as you like, but you may not share, resell, play it in public or put it online. Copyright and all other intellectual property rights remain with us and with the makers we work with.

Taking part in a session is your own responsibility. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the session, gift voucher or meditation concerned, except in the case of intent or gross negligence on our part.

If you are not happy with something, please let us know as soon as possible at leo@leomelcherts.com, with a clear description. We reply within 14 days and look for a solution together with you.

These terms and all agreements with us are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are brought before the competent court as determined by law. As a consumer, you always keep the protection the law gives you.

These terms exist in Dutch and English. If the two versions differ, the Dutch text prevails.
